Description: The streetlight seems like an extension of the group of palm trees. The architect probably intended the streetlights to fit in the natural environment. Henriette found them around the area of the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, a modernist concrete museum building, designed Affonso Eduardo Reidy (1909-1964).
Henriette is a photographer from Berlin. Her first encounter with photography came through assisting Lovis Dengler while interning at the Water Mill Center, an interdisciplinary Art Center founded by Robert Wilson. Later on, the Berlin-based photographer Ramtin Zanjani introduced her to analog photography and she has been practicing ever since.
